Ms Jane Leong is the founding Director and Group Publisher of Singapore based CR Media Pte Ltd.
An entrepreneur, Jane is growing her company into an Asian media powerhouse with a portfolio of lifestyle & tech magazines, websites, an event management arm and a syndication business that onsells lifestyle content to other publishers.
She has a track record of launching fast-growing enterprises and identifying new products at the right time. Under her leadership CR Media has become one of the few Asia media groups to successfully license their homegrown publications internationally.
To date she has successfully launched more than 20 magazines in five countries in Asia – and New York. They include:
1) Prestige - the successful luxury lifestyle magazine that has localized editions in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and New York.
2) August Man – a definitive journal for men with style, substance and success with editions in Singapore and Malaysia,
3) Tic Talk – a watch annual with editions in Singapore, Malayia and Hong Kong. The New York edition will debut in the 4th quarter of 2009.

One of the core team who launched Prestige Singapore, her responsibilities include creating brand awareness for Prestige through socialite contacts. Chua Siew Gek is the Finance Director of CR Media responsible for formulating and implementing corporate and financial strategies of the group. Prior to joining CR Media, Siew Gek was managing a publishing company, Digital Access Sdn Bhd, in Malaysia from 1997 to 1999. From 1994 to 1997, she held various positions within the Dominance Resources Group of companies, one of the key logging companies in Papua New Guinea where she was appointed to the Board of Dominance Resources Group. Siew Gek holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The National University of Singapore. She is also a non-practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. |
